Good news for the SW Champs, we will now have a fully stocked and licenced bar for the saturday night....purely to enhance the Karaoke enjoyment for all (or to block it out for some). So there is no need to weight yourselves down with cans as the bar prices are going to be very competitive. Good luck to everyone during the SW Champs and enjoy.

We have now uploaded the SW Champs SR's and a press release regarding the Noise Abatement order in the Admin Documents area of the downloads section.

Unfortunately the Broadband connection at the circuit has gone down. If it has not been repaired by the weekend we will not be able to accept any credit card payments. Please bring an alternative method of payment to ensure that we can accept your entry.

Welcome to Dunkeswell Kart Racing Club

We have now sent our new website live and hope you all find it easier to communicate and find the information you need for your 2010 racing season. Below are some brief details of the site along with some intructions in its use. If you have any questions please feel free to post them in the forum and we will try to answer them as soon as we can

Registering
To use certain features of the site such as the Forum and Classifieds you will need to register an account. To do this you need to click on the padlock with the title 'Login' in the top left corner, you can then register your account. Your username will be used in the forum, classifieds and within the profiles page so please either use your name or something that people will know you by to make communication easier.

Forum, Classifieds and Profiles
Once you have registered you will have access to all the above pages. The Forum is split into sections to make things easier with regards to getting class specific questions answered. There is also an Announcements section in which any club notices will be posted. Dont worry about keeping a track of things though, the 'Skull' icon to the left of the Forum Category will flash if there has been a new post.

You can also post, update and remove your own classified advert with pictures. To do this simply click on the 'Classifieds' tab in the menu on the right and you will see a link stating 'Advertise an Item' this will take you through to a page where you can upload your images, descriptions etc. If at any point you want to change your ad, for example reduce price, or to completely remove it you will need to click on 'My Adverts' where you will be able to do all of the above. Again if you have any questions please post them on the Forum in the 'Questions about the site' section

Once you have registered, your details will be viewable on the 'Profiles' page. You can include your own picture and edit your own details at any point by clicking on your own profile. If you want to contact someone and dont have their e-mail address you can simply click on their profile and select 'Messages' this way you can e-mail each other without anyone having to make thier address public. Please be aware though that the person you are e-mailing will be made aware of your personal e-mail address so that they can reply.

Club Admistration
The Club will continue to upload all relevant documents to the 'Downloads' section and the 'Calendar/Events' page will show you any upcoming events and dates of practices and races. The online entry form will operate as before but we are currently looking to try and get these details into your profile so that the form can be autofilled by the system so you only have to choose the date you wish to enter and amend any details as you need to. Race Reports will be placed in the 'News' page along with anything else thats newsworthy.

We have tried to include everything we can to make life easier and there are still some things to come, mainly content such as videos etc, but should you have any suggestions or constructive criticism please feel free to post it on the forum in the 'Questions about the Site' section.
